Community Clinical Trials (CCT) is a dedicated Multi-Specialty
Research Center which is affiliated with David B. Stanton, M.D.,
& Associates, A Medical Group, Inc. CCT is devoted to the study
of new treatments, devices and drugs with special interest in the
areas of Gastroenterology, Liver Disease, Endocrinology,
Rheumatology and Cardiology.
Our Medical Director, Dr. David B. Stanton, has been conducting clinical research since 1987 and opened Community Clinical Trials in 1998. CCT conducts 15 to 20 trials annually providing the Pharmaceutical Industry with high quality service. CCT has extensive experience in conducting Phase II, II-B, III, III-B and IV clinical trials. Community Clinical Trials (CCT) is a large 3,000 sq ft facility, with three exam rooms, EKG, ambulatory BP monitoring, -20 , locked refrigerator, centrifuge, mini-lab, temperature controlled locked drug storage, 2 dedicated monitoring rooms with internet access, dedicated fax line. Our Endoscopy Center, GastroDiagnostics, has a two procedure rooms, six bed recovery area, crash cart, I.V. pumps and state of art video endoscopy equipment. CCT maintains an efficient information system incorporating Study Manager, a clinical trials management system.
Community Clinical Trials is located in Southern California, approximately 10 miles from the John Wayne Airport and 25 miles from LAX. CCT is able to recruit from the large diverse populations found in Orange and Los Angeles counties.
Dr. David B. Stanton , Medical Director of
Community Clinical trials, is a graduate of Tufts University
Medical School and received his Board Certification in Internal
Medicine in 1984 followed by certification in the subspecialty of
Gastroenterology in 1987. Dr. Stanton has been practicing medicine
for over 20 years and clinical research plays an important role in
his practice.
Dr. Craig A. Ennis , Investigator, is a graduate
of University of California-San Diego Medical School and received
his Board Certification in Internal Medicine in 1993 and in
Gastroenterology during 1995. Dr. Ennis has been in private
practice since 1995 and began participating in clinical research at
that time.
Dr. Haig Najarian , Investigator, is a graduate
of University of Southern California Medical School and received
his Board Certification in Internal Medicine in 1995, followed by
certification in his subspecialty of Gastroenterology. Dr. Najarian
has many years of clinical research experience
Stephanie Quinn
Research Administrator
Stephanie Quinn has been with Dr. Stanton for 12 years and has
worked on many research projects. Stephanie has extensive
management experience and handles our regulatory documentation and
site operation.
Sonia Cummings, CCRCM
Sonia Cummings has been a Certified Clinical Research Coordinator for 12 years and coordinated over 50 clinical trials and handles our regulatory documentation for our site.
Lilly Ignacios-Zavaleta, CRC, MA
Clinical Research Coordinator
Lilly Ignacios has been a Clinical Research Coordinator for 5 years and coordinated over 25 clinical trials.
Community Clinical Trials (CCT) offices are conveniently located
in the Orange County area (population of over 3 million), bordering
the Los Angeles County area (population of 10 million),) and the
Riverside-San Bernardino Counties (combined population of 3.1
million). Each of these three counties are demographically
distinct, ranging from 30% to 75% non-white in race. Similar
diversity in age, education, language, and income can also be
targeted for special studies.
Community Clinical Trials (CCT) is located in a key location in
Orange County in Southern California. Our office location provides
easy access to major freeways. The community attitude towards
clinical research is very positive with excellent patient
participation observed across all therapeutic areas. CCT has
integrated hospitals, outpatient diagnostic facilities and local
area physicians into an extensive network allowing rapid execution
of our clinical trials.
