Rainier Clinical Research Center was established in 1989.
Initially we conducted clinical research studies primarily in the
areas of diabetes and metabolism but have since diversified and
have conducted studies for a wide spectrum of conditions. In 1993,
our facilities were expanded and additional staff members were
hired to accommodate our continued growth.
Our three medical directors are board-certified in endocrinology
and metabolism and internal medicine. They are on staff at Valley
Medical Center in Renton, Washington, and remain active in private
internal medicine and endocrinology practice. Our directors have
extensive research experience and training and hold clinical
faculty positions at the University of Washington Medical
School.
Over the past three years we have consistently met or exceeded
enrollment on the vast majority of studies we have conducted. We
pride ourselves on our ability to provide clean, reliable data to
our sponsors. We consistently strive to provide quick study
start-up and patient enrollment for all studies.
We have experience conducting Phase I, II, III and IV trials.
Over the past fifteen years we have conducted over 200 studies.
Our areas of specialty include: Diabetes, Endocrinology,
Hypertension, Lipids, Obesity, Osteoporosis, Psychiatry,

Patients who participate in clinical trials at our site come
from a variety of sources. The private practice of our three
medical directors provide many eligible and motivated participants.
We also have a research database of several thousand names that we
constantly build upon through advertising and patient recruitment
activities.
We are located about ten minutes south of downtown Seattle and
with a surrounding population of over a half million people, we are
able to quickly and efficiently enroll eligible patients for
studies.
