Florida Medical Research Institute
Since 1998, Florida Medical Research Institute (FLMRI) has been
conducting clinical trials in Gainesville, Florida in a number of
therapeutic areas. FLMRI offers sponsors an affiliation with
thirty-two physicians and their 30,000+ patients within their
network along with relationships with neighboring large hospitals
and the surrounding community to provide Phase I through IV
clinical trials.
Our goal is to bring the best and latest investigational new
drugs and medical devices to the local medical community for the
benefit of the patients we serve. Our professional staff is devoted
to accurate and rapid data collection and above all, superior
patient care.
FLMRI has been conducting clinical research studies for over
twenty (20) years. During that time, we have earned the trust,
respect and confidence of our study patients and the clinical

Our research site, located in Gainesville, Florida, is 5 minutes
from Interstate 75 and 15 minutes from the Gainesville Regional
Airport. Our office includes sufficient space for monitoring and
meetings, a full laboratory, and secure storage areas. Drug
security includes double-key entry and restricted access.
All investigators have received formal GCP and HIPAA training.
Our Medical Directors have over 20 years combined experience. A

Research coordinators have backgrounds in nursing, pharmacy, and
medical technology. All staff members participate in a
comprehensive initial and ongoing training program.
FLMRI maintains a database of over 20,000 volunteers. Over
480,000 people live in the areas surrounding the research site
along with 40,000 students attending the nearby University of
Florida.
