A private practice group with twenty years of experience in conducting clinical trials. Private practice patients are offered an opportunity to participate in trials and, therefore have the ability to have access to the newest modalities of treatment. Research patients who enter the practice through the trials have the ability to be followed in the private practice following the completion of the trial. The private practice and clinical research compliments each other.
The Principal Investigator, I. Kolin, M.D., has been involved in clinical trials since 1966. The center conducts phase II, III, IIIB, and IV studies. The center conducts studies in Mood Disorders, Major Depressive, Bipolar Disorder, Dysthymia, Mixed Anxiety/Depressive Disorders, Major Depression with Psychoses, Geriatric Depression, Generalized Anxiety Disorder, Panic Disorder, ADHD, Migraine Headaches, Alzheimer's Disease, and Smoking Cessation.

Established in 1971, The Kolin Research Group is located in Winter Park, a charming suburb of the international destination Orlando, Florida. The facility is easily accessible by car and public transportation and is twenty-five minutes from the Orlando International Airport. The office is a free-standing, private practice facility that offers patients personalized, individual care.

Dr. Kolin completed his internship in Pediatrics, and finished his residency in Psychiatry, with a Teaching Fellowship and Fellowship in Child Psychiatry at Cornell University Medical Center, New York Presbyterian Hospital-Payne Whitney Clinic in New York City.
Dr. Kolin is a Courtesy Clinical Associate Professor at University of Florida College of Medicine and Associate Professor at University of Central Florida College of Medicine. Dr. Kolin is listed by Best Doctors in America since 1996 and in Top Doctors since 1999. Dr. Kolin is a Distinguished Life Fellow of the American College of Psychiatrists. As the Principle Investigator, Dr. Kolin has experience in over 100 clinical research trials with consistently low placebo rate in double-blind trials.
