Bluegrass Clinical Research, Inc. is an independent, multi-specialty clinical research site. We serve as a coordinating center and physician consortium from which we manage clinical trials for physicians in the Louisville, Central Kentucky and Indiana area. The physicians affiliated with Bluegrass Clinical Research, Inc. maintain private practices and are leading physicians in their fields of specialty.

Facility Description

Bluegrass Clinical Research, Inc. is a 15-minute drive from Louisville's International Airport which offers service on all major carriers and provides easy accessibility to the metro area. This provides efficiency for monitoring of the trials by sponsoring company representatives.

Patient Demographics

The physician consortium at Bluegrass Clinical Research, Inc. enables us to utilize large, longstanding populations of subjects that have established patient physician relationships. The benefit for the customer which we work is to provide non-transitory, quality subject populations from a variety of demographic and socioeconomic backgrounds to enroll in clinical trials.

Louisville, Kentucky is the 16th largest city in the nation with a population of nearly 700,000 (2000 census). The greater metropolitan area brings the population of our area to 1.3 million. In addition, BCR maintains affiliations with physicians in several central Kentucky counties, adding another few thousand to our study area population.

Other Information

Bluegrass Clinical Research prefers to utilize central IRB affiliated with the trial in order to streamline the regulatory processes associated with the trial which enables BCR to move forward with the screening, enrollment, management and completion of the trial.
