CCRS is a full time multi-specialty research center with:
- Over 50 years of combined research experience conducting phase
II-IV studies
- 2 physicians, 3 certified clinical research coordinators, 1
registered dietician/personal fitness trainer, 1 lab specialist,
and 1 recruiter/data manager.
- Affiliation with numerous multi-specialty practices enabling
successful enrollment of participants in many therapeutic
areas
- Compliant with Good Clinical Practices, Code of Federal
Regulations and HIPAA
- CCRS has an extensive research database as well as access to
over 10,000 active allergy patients with diagnoses such as asthma,
allergic rhinitis, urticaria, eczema, conjunctivitis, sinusitis,
food allergies, and GI disturbances as well as other co-existing
medical illnesses.

Since 1998 our center has successfully conducted over 75 phase
II-IV clinical trials. Our 3 full-time coordinators are ACRP
certified and each coordinator has over 20 years experience in many
therapeutic areas. Each one has experience with the IVRS system,
electronic diaries and eCRF's.

We are a 2,100 sq. ft. facility located in a one-story medical
building with convenient parking, located less than one mile from a
large, full service hospital. We are easily accessible, located one
block from Broad Street, a major thoroughfare and also near the
intersection of Monument and Libbie. We are approximately 14 miles
from the airport. Our office is equipped with:

- 2 centrifuges

- Freezers at -20 degrees and -70 degrees

Robert S. Call, M.D., Owner, President and Medical Director
has been conducting phase II-IV clinical research trials since
1998. Area of Expertise: Internal Medicine, Asthma, Allergy
and Immunology.
Repeatedly voted a "Top Doc" in Allergy and
Immunology (as reported in Richmond Magazine).
Certified Clinical Research Coordinators
CCRS has 3 Certified Research Coordinators with over 50 years
combined experience in Lipid Disorders, Dermatology, CAD, HTN,
Oncology/Hematology, HRT, Osteoporosis, Obesity, Asthma, Allergies,
Diabetes-Type II, Migraine Headaches, IBS, GERD, Influenza Vaccine
and Pneumonia.
Registered Dietitian/Personal Fitness
Trainer:
Area of Expertise: Obesity, Diabetes and Lipid Disorders.
Lab Manager:
Takes care of all lab work for clinical trails manages the supplies
and records periodic equipment checks. The lab manager is the
primary phlebotomist and also assists with recruiting.
Recruiter/Data Manager:
Recruits participants from database and media advertising.
Organizes activities such as health fairs, educational classes and
special events. Manages computer database and web site.
Phlebotomists:
CCRS employs three phlebotomists (IATA certified) who draw, process
and ship laboratory specimens.
We draw our patients from Richmond and the surrounding counties
encompassing a population of over 1,000,000. CCRS has access to a
database of over 10,000 individuals.
To ensure compliance with GCP guidelines and FDA regulations, we
have our own standard operating procedure. Our marketing plan is
based on our participant and private practice database, media
advertising and patient referrals.
Our emphasis is on patient safety, our number one
responsibility.
