Biofortis Clinical Research is a dedicated research facility with experience in Phase II through Phase IV pharmaceutical trials. Many nutrition and food industry trials have also been completed. The center conducts clinical research to evaluate the safety and health effects of investigational drug products, nutriceuticals, and food industry components. While the site has special emphasis on cholesterol management, we also conduct trials in clinical nutrition, obesity, diabetes, hypertension, cognition, women’s health, men’s health, and other conditions.
History
Dr. Kevin Maki, Ph D, originally founded Provident Clinical Research in 2007. The company was recently acquired by Biofortis, a subdivision of Meuriux Nutrisciences in April 2011. This merger has expanded our capabilities within nutritional research.
