each clinical trial that we undertake at Montana Health Research
Institute.
Montana Health Research Institute is located in
Billings--Montana’s largest metropolitan city. The population of
Billings and its surrounding rural communities include more than
200,000 residents with a university student population of over
5,000. Because Billings provides primary regional medical care for
the entire population of Montana, our expert physician base is well
trained and diverse, and our health care facilities and hospitals
offer the latest technology for comprehensive preventive, primary
and specialty care.
Clinical studies are relatively new to this region. We continue
to experience an overwhelmingly positive response toward study
participation. Our western heritage promotes a pioneering spirit
and intense focus on personal community involvement. Montana’s
rural atmosphere provides access to a stable full-time study
population with a strong commitment to study completion. Through
our past experience, study participants are willing to travel
hundreds of miles to fulfill their roles as research participants.
Due to this unique pioneering spirit and sense of commitment,
Montana Health Research Institute staff consistently meets and
often exceeds enrollment goals.
