NEA BAPTIST Clinic - Clinical Research Center is located in Jonesboro, Arkansas, between Little Rock, AR, Memphis, TN and St. Louis, MO. Our location is easily accessible to public transportation, freeways & the Memphis and Little Rock Airports.
The clinical research center is a fully dedicated research facility located within the largest multi-specialty group of physicians in the region. The clinical research center supports all physician specialties associated with clinical trials. The study coordinators are located with their Physician/PI to offer a more seamless system and more access to patient population.
NEA BAPTIST Clinic offers numerous services, including: a centralized imaging center with a breast-care facility, plus open-magnet MRI, CT scanner, ultrasound, bone densitometry equipment and hyperbaric chamber. Rheumatology has a dedicated infusion room, capable of managing 6 patients.
Cardiac testing is available from ultrasound imaging of the vascular system to nuclear testing to a free-standing cardiac catheterization lab. Full neurological testing is available in a neuroscience department featuring neurologists and neurosurgeons. A medical oncology treatment site staffed by three medical oncologists provides cancer treatment, including research protocols. Associated with this service is the regions largest laboratory for blood testing on site.
Other services provided by NEA Baptist Clinic include audiology, allergy testing and treatment, optical shop, physical therapy, and laser eye treatments. A state of the art NEA Baptist Clinic Wellness Center is home to many programs for the community. The Volusion ultrasound equipment in our Women’s Clinic allows unbelievable images of the fetus. Not only is NEA Baptist Clinic home to 32 specialties, it also is the only clinic in the Mid-South to be truly integrated with an acute care hospital. Since July of 2004, NEA Baptist Clinic has been integrated on many levels with a 100 bed, state of the art hospital.
Millions of dollars have been spent over the past year to improve the infrastructure of this fine hospital to provide quality care to the region. The hospital is well-known for its excellence in cardiovascular services, with the only off-pump bypass surgery in the region. Continued physician involvement from the boardroom to the operating room makes the environment of this hospital unique.
Linking all of this together is a state of the art electronic medical record. This allows the physicians to follow the patient through multiple encounters whether in an urgent care environment, or specialty care. The emergency room physicians, by being part of the NEA Baptist Clinic family, also have access to the patient’s record for fast and accurate reference. This level of coordinated care means an exceptional patient encounter – from family medicine visit, to specialist to hospital stay.
We have over 30 Investigators available to support all of your clinical trial needs.
