Facility Description

Coastal Multi-Specialty Research is located in the South Coast Metro area near Santa Ana, California with easy access to the 405, 55, 5, and 22 freeways. Our facility is adjacent to Coastal Community Hospital; only 7 miles from John Wayne Airport. We offer full scale medical and urgent care services. Our building is well staffed with specialists from Cardiologists, Dermatologists, Pediatricians, Gynecologists, Dentists, Ophthalmologists, General and Vascular Surgeons. We have an on-site state-of-the-art multi-slice CT scanner, Siemens pegasus nuclear camera, X-ray machine, vivid 3 ultrasound, and treadmill.

Investigator Experience

Dr. Anil V. Shah, M.D., FACC FSCAI and Dr. Amer R Zarka, M.D., FACC have many years of experience in clinical trials. Our investigators are trained in following Good Clinical Practices and the International Committee on Harmonization.

Patient Demographics

Our site has a broad range of resources that are used for the recruitment of patients. Most of our study participants come from our database, as well as outside physician referrals. Community outreach programs, internet, flyers, and other various sources. Out dedicated database quickly identifies prospective study patients, allowing for enrollment in a timely manner.

In terms of race, our patient base is distributed as follows: White (40%), Hispanic (40%), Asian (10%), African American (5%), Other (5%)
