We are a culturally diverse private practice center with a specialty in Internal Medicine. We provide both office-based and hospital-based care in a moderate sized Southern city. We are privately owned and operated, but have staff associations with two large hospital systems.
Metrolina Internal Medicine, P.A. was established in 1999 as a two physician group, and has since grown to multiple physicians in two locations. Our practice emphasis is on primary care with attention to hypertension, diabetes, asthma and other chronic adult illnesses.
Internal Medicine Research grew out of this practice, and has become an important and vital part of the organization. We strive to actively conduct clinical trials for contribution to the body of medical knowledge and for the eradication of health disparities.
We have 15 years of experience and specialize in trials related to all common chronic adult disease processes including:
Hypertension
Type II Diabetes
Asthma/COPD
Hypercholesterolemia
Degenerative Joint Disease
