Horizons Clinical Research Center, LLC (HCRC) is an independently owned, highly qualified center, dedicated to conducting clinical research trials in a number of specialties including internal medicine, gynecology, dermatology, and urology. These trials are conducted for a significant number of prestigious pharmaceutical companies in the United States who trust in the quality and integrity of our work.

Our mission is to provide high quality and reliable data to the pharmaceutical companies striving to advance today's medicine, while rigorously maintaining the safety, well-being and confidentiality of our volunteer patients.

Facility Description

Horizons Clinical Research Center, LLC is a modern and well equipped 3,000 square foot facility designed specifically to conduct clinical research studies. The facility consists of a pleasant lobby and reception area, two patient exam rooms, three clinical research coordinator offices, one private monitoring office, laboratory, three secured storage rooms (one for study medication with temperature control, one for archiving study material, and one for document storage), break room and kitchen.

Our facilities are also furnished with secure high speed internet, refrigerated and non-refrigerated centrifuges, -25C freezer, and incubator.

The center complies with all the federal regulations for clinical research making it an effective, confidential and secure place to conduct clinical trials.

We also offer free parking for our patients and guests.

HCRC is conveniently located in central Denver in close proximity to Rose Medical Center and the VA Medical Center. It is also just 25 minutes from the Denver International Airport and close to a number of hotels and restaurants and just ten minutes to downtown Denver.

Patient Demographics

In order to expand the study population available to the sponsors and clinical research organizations that work with us we not only recruit study patients that speak English but also those who speak Spanish, which constitute a large percentage of the population in Denver (approximately 30%). All of our full-time research staff are bilingual in English and Spanish.

Other Information

For accuracy and ease of data management HCRC uses a clinical trials management computer system.
