At Apostle Clinical Trials, we are committed to conducting research
in a compassionate, professional setting to develop new therapies
to improve the quality of life of our patients with general
medical, neurologic and mental health disorders.
SMALL but Smart
Our staff has vast experience working with both start ups and large
scale established research organizations. We have drawn upon these
experiences to create an evironment where we pay close attention to
our volunteers and communicate effectively with sponsors and
CRO's. In the end, we provide personalized care to volunteers
while obtaining reliable and meaningful research results.
REAL WORLD EXPERTISE:
Our investigators have a combined greater than 34 years
of clinial experience and 7 years of full time clinical trials
experience from phase I to phase IV. Our senior
coordinators have a total of 12 years of clinical trials experience
in phase I through phase IV studies.

TYPE OF SITE:
Dedicated Full-Time Research Site that has full capabilities of
conducting inpatient and outpatient clinical trials.

Located in downtown Long Beach just 20 miles south of Los
Angeles. We are located on the campus of St. Mary Medical Center, a
tertiary care and the 7th largest medical center in Los Angeles
County. We are in close proximity to the Pacific Ocean, fine
dining, several world class hotels and are easily accessed by
freeways. Our site includes offices, exam and monitor rooms,
internet access, telephone and fax capabilities, fully equipped
laboratory, secure medication storage and on site record
storage.
Stephen Volk, M.D. has been active in clinical trials since
2002. To date he has served as PI on over 30
successfully completed studies and has served as Sub-Investigator
on 100 additional trials.
Thomas Apostle, DO an attending physician in the Department of
Physical Medicine and the Department of Psychiatry at Cedars Sinai
Medical Center. Dr. Apostle is a Diplomate of the
American Academy of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation and a
Diplomate of the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology. Dr.
Apostle serves as Sub-Investigator.
