Schenectady Neurological Consultants, PC
Schenectady Neurological Consultants (SNC) is a medical
neurology practice staffed by two board certified Neurologists and
two certified Physician Assistants. SNC is a comprehensive center
for the evaluation and treatment of all neurological disorders. We
also have The Headache Center of Northeastern New York.We have over
700 referring providers in our current data base.
Founded in 1991 by Dr. Bruno Tolge and Victor G. Bruce our
research center has extensive experience conducting Phase II-IV
trials in Headaches,Strokes, Restless Leg Syndrome, Seizures,
Multiple Sclerosis and Alzheimers. Our research center has worked
with a variety of sponsor companies and CRO'S including:
GlaxoSmithKline, Bayer, Kendle, Quintiles, ICON and BiogenIDEC.
Our facility offers a wide range of services. Our site has a
Infusion Center and The Headache Center of Northeastern New York.
Our neurological professionals perform a variety of diagnostic and
therapeutic procedures. These include: electromyography with nerve
conduction velocities (EMG), BOTOX, Occipital Nerve Blocks and
Trigger point injections for treatment of painful neurological
disorders.
Our facility has handicap access and easy offstreet parking. We
are 15 minutes from Albany International Airport, directly off the
Interstate. We also have a research office for monitoring.

and Geriatric Neurolgy.
Steven D. Hicks special interest is Headache Medicine,Dementia
and Restless Leg Syndrome.

clinical research studies.

Our general neurology practice typically sees patients 18 or
older with all types of neurological disorders from a geographical
area from the 7 surrounding counties of Schenectady, New York.
While the Headache Center will see patient's as young as 12
with the referring area of greater than a 100 mile radius.
Our research Department is specifically trained in transmission
of electronic case report forms. We can also perform EKG’s and many
other study related procedures.
