Accord Clinical Research, LLC is a private dedicated research facility that specializes in a wide range of Gastrointestinal and Multi-Therapeutic studies. Our center is staffed by 5 Board Certified Gastrointestinal and Internal Medicine Physicians and 1 certified Internal Medicine/Pulmonologist owning a private practice in an adjacent office. Accord Clinical Research, LLC was formed in 2006 in partnership with Accel Clinical Services, LLC. Our professional staff is dedicated to meeting the needs and timelines of our clients.
Accord Clinical staff has extensive experience in various
research study indications and strives to provide efficient and
timely studies. The clinical staff at Accord provides expertise not
only in gastro-intestinal studies but experience in
multi-therapeutic indications as well. Our physician investigators
bring over 45 years of combined research experience to our studies.
Our staff prides itself in offering accurate screening and
assessment, and providing cutting edge treatment and medical
management to our patients.
Our comfortable outpatient center offers warm surroundings and
top quality patient care. Our physicians are highly recognized in
the medical community. Our dedicated research facility
includes:

- -40 Freezer and dry ice storage
- Study monitor office which accommodates 3 monitors

Our adjacent private practice has over 20,000 square feet of
medical space with full GI procedure facilities and includes:
- Prep rooms
- Endoscopic procedure rooms
- Recovery room with 6 post-op beds
- x-ray suite
- Private offices
We are conveniently located in Port Orange, Florida close to
Daytona International Speedway, Daytona Airport and Daytona
Beach.
Our investigator staff is among the finest in the industry.
Lawrence M. Gilliard, MD-Dr. Gilliard is Board Certified in Internal Medicine and Pulmonary Medicine. Dr. Gilliard serves as Director of the Intensive Care Unit at Florida Hospital DeLand. Dr. Gilliard has recently joined our outstanding group of investigators.
Donato R. Ricci, MD-Dr. Ricci is Board
certified in Gastroenterology and Internal Medicine. He is
currently on the National Hepatitis Advisory Board. Dr. Ricci has
been conducting research since 1986.
Gregory J. Stella, MD-Dr. Stella is Board
certified in Gastroenterology and Internal Medicine. Dr. Stella is
Chief of Medicine Staff at Halifax Medical Center. Dr. Stella has
been conducting research since 1996.
Sunil P. Pasricha, MD-Dr. Pasricha is Board
certified in Gastroenterology and Internal Medicine. Dr. Pasricha
has participated in several research studies.
Louis Agnone, MD- Dr. Agnone is Board certified
in Gastroenterology and Internal Medicine. Dr. Agnone is member to
many professional organizations and committees.
Harry Moulis, MD-Dr. Moulis is Board certified
in Gastroenterology Dr. Moulis has been conducting clinical
research since 1996.
Lori LaChapelle, CMA, CCRC, Site Director, has over 12 years
experience in the medical field as a Certified Medical Assistant
and over 8 years experience as a Clinical Research Coordinator and
Manager. Ms. LaChapelle is supported by a full time coordinating
staff and a full time recruiting staff on site
Our business association with Accel Clinical Research, LLC
allows us access to seven highly-experienced physician
investigators, 35 additional research staff, and years of clinical
trial experience.
The Port Orange area is highly diverse demographically. We are
surrounded by a diverse community of middle-class families, college
and university students and highly active retirees. Port Orange is
a community characterized by a stable and successful business
climate which develops, nurtures, and embraces quality businesses.
We have access to a very large patient database.
Accord Clinical Research uses central IRBs. Accord staff includes Director of Contracts, Business Development and 7 full time patient recruiters including bilingual staff. Accord patient recruiters are staffed 7 am – 7pm daily.
