Research Center Profile:
West Houston Clinical Research
West Houston Clinical Research Service is a clinical research
site. It was founded with the goal of providing high quality
research data for pharmaceutical and biomedical companies while
maintaining the best quality care for our patients. W.H.C.R.S.
works with a high volume outpatient primary care practice which
allows us a timely and successful enrollment of study subjects. We
are multi-specialty and conduct Phase I, II and III clinical
trials.
Over 50 Years Combined Experience
Clinical Research Experience
Although we are a new research site, our medical facilities have
more than a 30 year history in the Houston community. Our medical
director as well as our principal investigators have a long history
of clinical research experience.
Experienced Investigators
We are a team of motivated investigators with experience in a broad
range of therapeutic areas. Our physicians enthusiastically embrace
clinical research and the opportunities that it brings to the
marketplace and to the patients themselves. Our medical director
has more than 10 years experience working in the pharmaceutical
industry; and he has been published numerous times in scientific
publications, including a book about modeling in pharmacology. In
addition, some of our investigators have held faculty
appointments.

A Diverse Population...
Houston, Texas is the fourth largest city in the United States.
Metropolitan Houston and its surrounding suburbs make up a
population of 2.6 million people. Houston is also a very ethnically
diverse city. The majority of the population is made up of
Caucasian, African American, Hispanic and Asian people %96 each of
all ages and economic status. Our outpatient primary care facility,
which has a yearly volume of almost nearly 100,000 patients, is a
