Sleep Disorders Consultants of Tampa Bay
Sleep Disorder Consultants of Tampa Bay is a private practice
specializing in Sleep Medicine. We offer expert consultations,
accurate diagnostic evaluations, and ongoing treatment for all
sleep disturbances including Obstructive Sleep Apnea, Snoring,
Insomnia, Narcolepsy, Excessive Daytime Sleepiness, Restless Legs
Syndrome, Nightmares and Night Terrors, Sleepwalking, Sleep talking
and Bedwetting. We are affiliated with several sleep centers
located throughout West Central Florida, including one Pediatric
Sleep Center.
Dr. Stephen Kreitzer, who is the Principal Investigator for
Sleep Disorder Consultants of Tampa Bay, is Board Certified in
Sleep Medicine. In addition, Dr. Kreitzer has 28 years of clinical
trial experience in Phase II-IV trials covering all therapeutic
areas of Pulmonary and Infectious Disease, in which he is also
Board Certified. He has worked extensively with GlaxoSmithKline,
Novartis, Genentech, Aventis, Boehringer Ingelheim, Astra Zeneca
and Merck, as well as the CRO's PPD, PRA, CTMS and
Quintiles.
Sleep Disorder Consultants of Tampa Bay has an office centrally
located in Tampa, where we give diagnostic evaluations and ongoing
treatment plans. The many Sleep Centers that are our affiliates are
located in Tampa, and areas north and south in both private
facilities and hospitals and have all the latest equipment
available for quality assurance.
Dr Kreitzer is President of Sleep Disorder Consultants of Tampa
Bay. He completed his medical training, internship and internal
medicine residency at Albert Einstein College of Medicine - Bronx
Municipal Hospital Center in New York. His Pulmonary Medicine
specialty training was completed in 1974 at the Harvard Medical
School - Peter Bent Brigham Hospital in Boston. From 1974 to 1976
he was on active duty with the US Air Force. Dr Kreitzer has been
Board Certified in Sleep Medicine since 2002. He is also the
Director of Respiratory Therapy and Sleep Disorders Laboratory at
Memorial Hospital of Tampa. He has lectured extensively in the
community on Sleep Disorders and specialty areas such as
"Women and Sleep" and "Cardiovascular Disease and
Sleep". Dr. Kreitzer's research on "The Diaphragm and
Sleep" has been quoted in "Principles And Procedures of
Sleep Medicine".
Jeannette Bradd, RPSGT, CRT has been integrally involved in all
areas of sleep disorders evaluation since 1995. She has performed
overnight studies and MSLT's, is currently managing Memorial
Hospital of Tampa's Sleep Laboratory, and has expertise in
scoring sleep studies.
Kathleen Fischler, CRTT has been involved in running Dr.
Kreitzer's practice and has also worked with him in research as
both a Coordinator and Regulatory expert for 24 years.
We have a broad spectrum of patients, of many ethnic and
economic backgrounds. Their ages range from pediatric patients to
senior citizens.
As a private practice, we have been using Central IRB's for
many years. If were to do a hospital based trial, we would most
likely use Memorial Hospital of Tampa's IRB, as we have in the
past.
