Lane Medical Research Group (LMRG) was founded in 2005 by Jane
E. Mossberg, M.D. This facility is an independent clinical research
site located within a multi-specialty Adult Medicine practice. Our
standard of high quality care that we provide each patient is
reflected in the exceptional conduct in each of our trials. We are
committed to maintaining good clinical trial practice that will
advance the healthcare of our community in which we serve.
The mission of Lane Medical Research Group is to support, guide
and educate the research participants while ensuring that clinical
research studies are carried out accurately and with scientific and
ethical integrity.

Lane Medical Research Group is located near downtown Eugene and
1 block away from Sacred Heart Medical Center. We have plenty of
free off-street parking with close proximity to public
transportation. The site is wheel-chair accessible with a
comfortable waiting area for study participants.
Our research facility is equipped with the following:
- Phlebotomy draw/processing area including a centrifuge, CLIA
certified
- Drug storage with limited access, temperature monitored
- Secured Freezer (-20 degree Celsius)
- Secured Refrigerator for drug storage
- Dry Ice
- 12 lead EKG
- Calibrated scales/height measurement
- Emergency crash cart/tray
- Lunar Prodigy Bone Densitometer (DEXA scan)
- High speed internet access
- Direct telephone line for CRC
- Dedicated research exam room
Other services include:
- Prompt turn-around of regulatory documents, contracts and
budgets
- One person contact for all study-related issues

Jane E. Mossberg, M.D. owns a well-established private adult
medicine practice and is certified with the American Board of
Internal Medicine. Dr. Mossberg has been conducting clinical trials
for over 6 years with a sub-specialty in osteoporosis and bone
densitometry. She is highly regarded in her field of expertise with
experience in multi-therapeutic areas, including: Internal
Medicine, Cardiology, Endocrinology, Rheumatology, Neurology and
Musculoskeletal.

CRC and member of ACRP, 7 years of experience coordinating clinical
trials
Lane Medical Research Group has access to a database of over
4,500 patients:
- 60% Female
- 40% Male
- Ages 18-40 = 15%
- Ages 41-64 = 35%
- Ages 65+ = 50%
In addition, with the surrounding areas of Lane County, we have
a population of over 350,000 to potentially recruit from. Marketing
efforts usually include: newspaper, physician referrals, radio,
community health fairs/events, direct mail, flyers/brochures.
LMRG is able to utilize a central IRB or our local IRB (if
needed). Our local IRB provides quality reviews on a monthly
basis.
