private-practice physicians from various medical offices who
perform clinical research trials.
SCORE's Medical Director, Jeffrey A. Hirschfield, M.D.C.P.I. has a
wealth of experience providing complete oversight in the ethical
conduct of research involving human participants, patient privacy
and confidentiality, informed consent practices, data and safety
monitoring, and continuous regulatory reviews.
SCORE has delegated standard operating procedures for our sites
and research personnel to ensure the highest standards of quality
in the conduct of our clinical trials.

Each physician office provides outpatient medical services in a
private practice setting. Each office provides for large
examination rooms, comfortable monitoring rooms with internet and
email access, CLIA or COLA-accredited laboratories. Emergency
preparedness equipment and standard operating procedures in the
event of an emergency situation. All offices have nearby hospitals
and emergency room services within a 2-mile radius. Affiliate
offices are located in Southern Pinellas County, FL within a 20-30
minute drive from Tampa International Airport.

JEFFREY A. HIRSCHFIELD, MD, CPI - Medical Director, SPA President
Dr. Hirschfield is a board certified specialist pediatrician. He received his bachelor degree in neurobiological sciences with high honors from the University of Florida and earned his medical degree from the University of South Florida College of Medicine, then he completed his pediatric residency at All children’s Hospital in Saint Petersburg. Subsequently, he established his private practice and clinical research facility in Saint Petersburg since 1998 where he continues to serve as medical director and principal investigator of clinical trials. He is the founder and president of SCORE Physician Alliance (SPA) which comprises of clinical research experts conducting clinical trials with broad array of specialties. SCORE’s doctrine is based on total integration of clinical medicine and clinical investigation as well as providing consulting services to the clinical trials industry. Dr. Hirschfield is considered the leading authority in his field of expertise and was awarded the America’sTop Pediatricians by the Consumers’ Research Council of America on an annual basis for his lifelong distinguished contribution. Dr. Hirschfield provided valuable input in the scientific community by drafting, reviewing, editing, authoring and publishing in medical journals. He has helped with revising, updating and expanding several book chapters to his credit. As a pediatrician he is affiliated with Johns Hopkins Medicine / All Children’s Hospital, Bayfront Medical Center, and Saint Petersburg General Hospital. He continues to serve his community by providing his leadership as member on the advisory board of the United Healthcare Children Foundation, Academy of Pharmaceutical Physicians and Investigators, Novartis Research and Development Advisory Committee on Vaccines, American Academy of Pediatrics, Johns Hopkins Medicine / All Children’s Hospital Education Committee, and the Pinellas County Medical Association. In addition he currently holds a special role as a Consulting Pediatrician and Disability evaluator for the State of Florida. Dr. Hirschfield currently holds multiple appointments as Assistant Clinical Professor at University of South Florida College of Nursing, Assistant Clinical Professor at University of Tampa Nurse Practitioner Program and as an Adjunct Clinical Instructor at University of South Florida Department of Pediatrics and Nursing.
MOUHSSINE AYOUBI, MD, CCRA- Clinical Trials Manager
Dr. Ayoubi has been involved in a variety of research activities in academia, corporateand private practice. Throughout his career he worked in both Canada and USA on several research projects in many therapeutic areas with results published and presented at national and international conferences. In addition to holding a Medical Degree from the faculty of medicine in Rabat(Morocco), he obtained additional clinical research certification as a clinical research fellow in clinical research, device, and drug development from the Charleston Area Medical Center Health Education and Research Institute in Charleston (West Virginia).While working there, he developed competencies in clinical research process from statistical analysis, conceptualizing, planning and designing to conducting methodological research protocols. His research portfolio ranged from basic or fundamental research to clinical investigation with a proven track record of boosting productivity and numerous research accomplishments. He is recognized for his outstanding achievements in clinical trials andoutstanding service in clinical research as well as a distinguished contributor in grant writing. Currently, he is a clinical trials manager at Score Physician Alliance, the clinical trials experts, and is responsible for supervising the conduct of industry-sponsored clinical studies and the business aspect of the multidisciplinary research environment.

Recruitment for our various clinical trials is derived primarily
from private practices within Score’s physician network. Electronic
databases at each site are able to stratify prospective patients by
demographics, diagnosis type, etc. utilizing standard medical
billing software.
All research sites are able to utilize Central IRB's.
