MD Clinical Research (MDCR)
MD Clinical Research (MDCR) is a physician-driven research
company devoted exclusively to investigational drug research. All
clinical trials are integrated and centralized at our dedicated
site facility and headquarters located at 3193 Howell Mill Road,
Atlanta, Georgia 30327. Our network includes Satellite clinical
research facilities located throughout Georgia and are staffed with
trained clinical research professionals who are knowledgeable of
Code of Federal Regulations, ICH guidelines, HIPAA regulations,
Good Clinical Practices.
MDCR focuses on enhancing site performance, conducting phase
II-IV clinical trials with emphasis on patient recruitment,
accelerating our clients' drug development timeline,
acceleration of study placement and completion of clinical trials,
while ensuring the quality of our services.
Mission Statement
MDCR's mission is to establish a national center of
excellence in clinical research by providing a superior level of
patient care and education through clinical research trials. We
strive to educate patients on all aspects of their medical
conditions and provide them with the opportunity of access to new
medications, which may significantly improve their quality of
life.
Commitment to quality
- Our commitment to quality is ensured through our Department of
Regulatory Affairs and Quality Assurance. This goal is met through
oversight of operations of the clinical trial process at all sites
including training investigators and site staff in GCP guidelines
and assuring each site meets FDA/GCP guidelines. We are able to
reduce monitoring time, minimize data queries, and monitor the
quality of study conduction by being responsive to the needs of
sites and sponsors.
- We screen our database and present to the customer only the
most highly qualified and experienced sites based on the
Sponsor's specific criteria.
- We utilize Central IRB's for outpatient studies and local
IRB's for inpatient studies.
- Each study is assigned a Project Manager who serves as a
central contact for all sites to ensure efficient communication and
that barriers to a successful outcome are minimized.
Our network of qualified investigators and the motivation of our
study coordinators give us the ability to accurately and
effectively complete our clinical studies. We hold our ethical
standards and study completion foremost, as we strive to complete
our studies in a timely and productive manner.
Our dedicated research facility is located in one of the ten
most populated metropolitan areas in the United States and has
access to the region's 4.5 million plus residents. This 4,000
square foot dedicated research facility has fully equipped
examination rooms, fully functional laboratory facility and
emergency equipment. It also houses our centralized operations for
administrative, contractual, and budgetary issues, which facilitate
swift site identification, qualification, selection and start up
across multiple sites. Conveniently located in North Atlanta, it is
easily reached by car and public transportation (MARTA) and is 18
miles from Hartsfield International Airport, 3 universities and
institutions including the Emory University Hospital, Crawford Long
Hospital, Grady Memorial Hospital, the Atlanta Veterans
Administration Medical Center, and the CDC.
Our Satellite Sites are located with proximity to public
transportation and interstate access and provide ample space for
monitoring visits.
