The Janus Center for Psychiatric Research is a dedicated research-only site, owned and operated by Janice Miller, MD, CPI, a Board-Certified Psychiatrist and Certified Physician Investigator. Dr. Miller has practiced in Palm Beach County for over 30 years and has conducted clinical trials as a Principal Investigator for the past 9 years. Dr. Miller opened the Janus Center for Psychiatric Research in November 2004.
The Janus Center for Psychiatric Research specializes in CNS clinical trials, primarily for psychiatric and related indications. The staff are highly trained and experienced. Over the past 9 years Dr. Janice Miller has been Principal Investigator for more than 100 clinical trials for adults, children and geriatric populations. Among the major pharmaceutical companies Dr. Miller and staff have worked with are Merck, Pfizer, Shire, Forest, Astra Zeneca, Cephalon, Wyeth, Novartis, Sanofi-Aventis, Glaxo Smith Kline, Eli Lilly, Bristol-Myers Squibb and others.
The center offers outpatient studies for subjects of all ages
beginning at age 6. We are conveniently located in West Palm Beach
with easy access off Interstate 95

Our patients ages range from 6 years to 85 or above.
Therapeutic indications of clinical trials are ADHD, Depression, Anxiety Disorder, Panic Disorder, Bipolar Disorder, Insomnia, Fibromyalgia, Addiction Disorder and Cognitive Impairment.
Our location is conducive to successful recruitment for all ages, including the elderly due to the region’s popularity for retirement.
We utilize central IRB's and are proud of our ability to turn
around regulatory documents in a timely and efficient manner.
Budgets and contracts are negotiated at the site level so they can be executed very quickly.
We are technologically sophisticated and have
participated in many trials that require electronic data
capture.
Recruitment at a local level has been very succesful due to our
familiarty with the local market.
