The Atlanta Center for Medical Research (ACMR) is a 24-hour privately owned research facility with a secured, 64-bed inpatient unit. We conduct both outpatient and inpatient clinical trials with experience in Phases 0/I first in humans through IV of industry sponsored pharmaceutical trials. Since 1980, ACMR has assisted in the advancement of critical scientific milestones, helping sponsors bring important medications to the public.
Dr. Robert Riesenberg, Medical Director and President of ACMR, has conducted clinical trials for over the past 30 years and serves as Principal Investigator for research done in the central nervous system area. ACMR also employs other physicians to serve as sub-investigators for support on studies that involve specialized assessments such as telemetry monitoring, holter monitoring, MRI/CAT scan interpretation, etc.
ACMR employs over 50, one-hundred percent dedicated research personnel including Nurses, Patient Care Technician’s (PCT’s), Certified Clinical Research Coordinators, Certified Efficacy Raters, Laboratory Technicians, and Research Assistants. Our in-house Regulatory Specialist handles the regulatory process from study submission, to study maintenance, and through study close out. Along with our Transportation Department and Administrative Support Staff, our in-house Marketing Department is responsible for timely recruitment of all appropriate study participants.
