Panos E. Vasiloudes, MD, PhD, FAAD, FAAP
Principal Investigator/ Owner
Dr. Panos Vasiloudes is the founder and Principal Investigator for Olympian Clinical Research. He holds a triple board certification in Dermatology, Pediatrics, and Neonatology. Dr. Vasiloudes also has his PhD in the area of Cell and Molecular Biology. Additionally, he teaches dermatology at USF as a volunteer professor, where he has a dual appointment with the Departments of Dermatology and Pediatrics.
Dr. Vasiloudes, a native of Cyprus, attended medical school at the Phillips University in Marburg Germany, where he obtained his degree in 1987. Subsequently, he performed research at the renowned Rockefeller University in New York and the Phillips University in Marburg, before completing his training in Europe at the University of Freiburg. Dr. Vasiloudes was awarded his PhD summa cum laude in 1989, after publishing his research in numerous peer reviewed publications.
He has conducted numerous studies in the following areas: psoriasis, atopic dermatitis, pruritus, actinic keratosis, tinea pedis, acne, pediatric psoriasis and pediatric atopic dermatitis.
He is fluent in Greek, English, and German.
Kelley Yokum, MD
Sub Investigator
Dr. Kelley Yokum joined Olympian Clinical Research in 2012. She is board certified in Psychiatry by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology.
Dr. Yokum obtained her Bachelors of Science in Biology from the University of Alabama. She subsequently obtained her medical degree from the University of Alabama School of Medicine in 2005. She completed her Psychiatry residency at the University of South Florida.
Dr. Yokum maintains certification in Good Clinical Practice and the Protection of Human Subjects through Collaborative Institutional Training Initiative. She has conducted clinical research in the areas of psoriasis, atopic dermatitis, and obsessive compulsive disorder.
Catherine Marcum, MD, FAAD
Sub Investigator
Dr. Catherine Marcum joined Olympian Clinical Research in 2012. She is board certified in Dermatology, and she enjoys seeing patients of all ages. Her main focus is medical dermatology. She has a special interest in skin cancer screening, prevention, and treatment along with the management of common dermatologic conditions such as acne and psoriasis.
Dr. Marcum was born and raised in Louisville, Kentucky. She obtained her Bachelor of Sciences in Psychology from the University of Kentucky. She then received her medical degree from the University of Louisville School of Medicine in 2005.
Dr. Marcum completed her internship in Internal Medicine at St. Vincent's Hospital in Indianapolis before continuing her residency training in Dermatology at the University of South Florida. She served as the Chief Resident of Academic Conferences during her last year of residency.
She has conducted research in the areas of psoriasis and atopic dermatitis.
Heather Scull, PA-C, MMS, MS
Sub Investigator
Heather Scull joined Olympian Clinical Research in July 2010. She has over ten years of extensive experience in clinical research.
She attended Colgate University in Hamilton, NY where she received a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology. She subsequently attended Dartmouth Medical School in Hanover, NH where she received a Master of Science in Evaluative Clinical Sciences. Recently, she graduated from the physician assistant program at Wake Forest University School of Medicine in Winston-Salem, NC where she received her Master of Medical Science in Physician Assistant Studies.
She has conducted numerous research studies in the following areas: allergic contact dermatitis, malignant skin conditions, psoriasis, cutaneous erythema, T-Cell Lymphoma, HIV, hair loss, generalized anxiety disorder, chronic pain, bipolar disorder, schizophrenia, depression and hypercholesterolemia.
Lora Pea, BS, RN, CCRC
Director of Clinical Research
Lora Pea joined Olympian Clinical Research in January 2012. She has held previous positions as a clinical research coordinator and research site director. She has been conducting clinical research since 2006 and she became a Certified Clinical Research Coordinator through the Association of Clinical Research Professionals (ACRP) in 2008.
She attended the University of Georgia in Athens, GA where she received a Bachelor of Science in Psychology in 2005. She subsequently attended Hillsborough Community College where she received an Associate of Science in Nursing in 2011.
Lora Pea maintains certification in Good Clinical Practice and the Protection of Human Subjects through Collaborative Institutional Training Initiative. She has conducted numerous research studies in the following areas: depression, anxiety, insomnia, Alzheimer’s disease, bipolar disorder, schizophrenia, osteoarthritis, chronic pain, migraines, diabetes, diabetic peripheral neuropathy, opioid induced constipation, irritable bowel syndrome, GERD, weight loss, birth control, anemia, rheumatoid arthritis, atopic dermatitis, and psoriasis.
Leslie Quinn, CRC
Clinical Research Coordinator
Leslie Quinn joined Olympian Clinical Research in 2011. She has been working as a clinical research coordinator since 2008. She is an NHA certified phlebotomy technician and a certified medical assistant. A Florida native, she brings 18 years of experience in the healthcare profession.
Leslie Quinn maintains certification in Good Clinical Practice and the Protection of Human Subjects through Collaborative Institutional Training Initiative along with training in transporting dangerous goods. She is also a member of the Association of Clinical Research Professionals and the Society of Clinical Research Associates.
Leslie Quinn has conducted numerous research studies in the following areas: memory loss, dementia, overactive bladder, osteoarthritis, psoriasis, atopic dermatitis, pediatric atopic dermatitis, pediatric psoriasis, and hypercholesterolemia.
Robin Jennings, CRC
Clinical Research Coordinator
Robin Jennings joined Olympian Clinical Research in February 2011. She started her career with Internal Medical Associates in Bloomington, Indiana and subsequently worked for Monroe Hospital. She is a Certified Surgical Technologist and a member of the Association of Surgical Technologists since 2007.
Robin Jennings maintains certification in Good Clinical Practice and the Protection of Human Subjects through Collaborative Institutional Training Initiative along with training in transporting dangerous goods.
Robin Jennings has conducted research studies in the following areas: psoriasis, atopic dermatitis, pediatric psoriasis and pediatric atopic dermatitis.
