Center Overview

OB/GYN Specialists of the Palm Beaches is a private group practice specializing in women's health care and clinical research. OB/GYN Specialists is the largest obstetrics and gynecology practice in Palm Beach County and has been serving the community for over 40 years. It is comprised of 30 physicians, 7certified nurse midwives and 1 nurse practitioner. Our diverse group of physicians include a GYN Oncologist, two Perinatolgists and a Radiologist who is on site for mammography, bone densitometry and ultrasound.

Clinical Research Experience

OB/GYN Specialists is currently seeking phase II, III and IV pharmaceutical trials in Gynecology, Urogynecology, and GYN Oncology. Our physicians have previous research experience with the following pharmaceutical companies: Berlex, Eli Lilly and Company, Pfizer, Sanofi-Synthelabo, Warner Chilcott, Teva, Hormos, Duramed, Precision, Kannion, Fujirebio, Tigris, Roche, KB Pharmaceuticals, Cytokine, Ciphergen, and Wyeth.

Facility Description

OB/GYN Specialists of the Palm Beaches has 5 convenient office locations to serve our patients. Our research site is conveniently located in West Palm Beach. We are located within minutes of the Palm Beach International Airport and area hospitals. Our office has valet parking for all patients and guests. This site has state of the art medical equipment for ultrasound, mammography, bone densitometry, 20 exam rooms, 2 colposcopy/hysteroscopy rooms, secured drug storage, -20° freezer, and 2 laboratories with centrifuges and has ample space to easily accommodate monitors.

Staff Expertise

OB/GYN Specialists of the Palm Beaches research staff, physicians and support staff are dedicated to the efficient and accurate conduction of protocols. The research staff and physicians have been trained in GCP, ICH, and HIPAA. The site currently has 2 certified clinical research coordinators with over 6 years of experience in all aspects of conducting research. The support staff consists of RN's, LPN's and MA's.

Patient Demographics

Our large practice will provide the majority of the study patients. Current database has 90,000 active patients.

Other Information

OB/GYN Specialists can utilize a central IRB for all outpatient trials. Regulatory packages will be completed within 48 hours.
