Center Overview

Anaheim Clinical Trials (ACT) initiates and conducts about 75 new clinical research trials on an annual basis. Our sites are located within two well known hospitals and a community clinic, allowing us the opportunity to set up a huge referral network amongst other physicians located in and around the community. In addition, Orange County has a population of 2.6 million people, giving us access to an enormous and diverse patient base, including a large minority population.

Our independence, experienced professional management team, and the physicians' absolute commitment to "achieving success on time, within budget, accurately, and with the utmost concern for the safety of all participants" remains a benchmark upon which other trial sites measure themselves.

Other highlights of our sites include:

  • A huge primary database drawn internally from our private practice.
  • 48 hour turn around on all regulatory documents, budgets, research agreements, and other contracts.
  • Study approval usually within one week (depending on which Central IRB is selected).
  • 29 associated physicians who refer eligible patients for our studies.
  • A staff of 24 full time clinical research coordinators, 2 regulatory specialists, one lab director, 5 patient recruitment personnel, a two full time Quality Assurance personnel, and one registered dietician who have proven their ability to rapidly enroll large numbers of study subjects.
  • A total commitment to quality research that ensures providing adequate staff up to seven days a week, if necessary.
