Center Overview

Providence Health Partners - Center for Clinical Research is an independent clinical research center owned by a forty-physician group practice located in Dayton, Ohio. Our mission is to provide our patients with state of the art medical care and opportunities to participate in clinical research studies. We collaborate with our sister site, Providence Diabetes Education & Management to bring comprehensive and high quality patient centered care. Our Investigators are respected members of the medical community and are known for their individual areas of practice.

Clinical Research Experience

Areas of Clinical Expertise and Patient Population:

  • Endocrinology: Diabetes, obesity, lipid disorders, osteoporosis, hirsuitism, gynecomastia, hyper and hypothyroidism, anemia.
  • Gerontology: Alzheimer’s, chronic kidney disease, anemia, contagious diarrhea
  • Arthritis/Rheumatology: Chronic low back pain, chronic neck pain, muscle cramps, gout, Pagets disease, osteoarthritis, rheumatoid arthritis, fibromyalgia.
  • Cardiovascular: Atherosclerosis, hypertension, hyperlipidemia, peripheral arterial disease, smoking cessation, heart disease.
  • Gastrointestinal: Constipation, GERD, esophagitis, irritable bowel, peptic ulcer disease.
  • Urology: BPH, erectile dysfunction, urinary incontinence, urinary tract infections, hematuria.
  • Dermatology: Pruritis, rosacea, psoriasis, warts, herpes Simplex Virus Type 1 and 2.
