The Mission of Wasatch Clinical Research, LLC is to conduct
Phase II through IV clinical research trials that will assist
biotechnology and pharmaceutical companies in creating products
that will transform the practice of medicine and improve quality of
life by preventing and treating human disease.
Wasatch Clinical Research is a dedicated team of Physicians,
Nurses and Certified Clinical Research Coordinators (CCRCs), with
the proven expertise to conduct all aspects of your Phase II
through IV clinical studies. We are committed to our sponsors,
patients and each other. Wasatch Clinical Research's physicians
and study coordinators maintain high quality patient care and
strict adherence to GCP's through the entire clinical trial
process.
Wasatch Clinical Research has been providing site services since
1999, conducting over 60 Phase II, III, and IV clinical
studies.
WCR has a team of physicians, RNs, and CCRCs with the proven
expertise to conduct all aspects of your Phase II through IV
clinical studies. WCR's core team consists of 33 principal
investigators (physicians), in excess of another 70 sub-principal
investigators and study coordinators who have years of clinical
research experience. Additional research-experienced physicians
associated with St. Marks Hospital, Salt Lake Surgical Center, Salt
Lake Regional Hospital, Cottonwood Hospital, and LDS Hospital can
be added to the Wasatch Clinical Research Team if your studies
require a larger patient base.

WCR is affiliated with family practices and specialty providers
throughout the Salt Lake Valley. Each provider is located within
minutes of a local hospital. In addition, all facilities are
accessible by public transportation for convenient patient
transportation. Almost all facilities are also located within 40
minutes of the Salt Lake International Airport.
WCR has access to a wide range of study related
diagnostic instrumentation including but not limited to the
following:
- -70° and -20° freezers as well as dry ice capability
- locked drug storage areas digitally monitored for temperature
24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
- Access to CLIA certified laboratories, CT, MRI, X-ray,
ultrasound and EKG equipment.
WCR's experienced team of physicians are recognized in their
therapeutic specialties throughout the community. In fact, many of
the Physicians have been nationally acclaimed and published for
their contribution to medicine.
Our Investigator Physicians have an average of 5 years clinical
research experience. All Physicians are highly qualified and take
pride in providing accurate data that can be confidently presented
to institutional review boards and to the FDA for review.
Wasatch Clinical Research has an experienced clinical research
staff that prides themselves on a standard of quality.
WCR's staff includes over 100 investigators experienced in
their field of expertise. In addition, WCR has a staff of study
coordinators who have an average of 11 years of clinical research
experience. All staff members are trained in sponsor requirements,
FDA requirements, and IRB requirements.
The majority of our patients come to us from our physician's
practices providing us with pre-identified study candidates and
detailed medical histories. However, when we go outside of our
physician's practices to the greater Salt Lake area there is a
diverse population of approximately 2 million particularly well
suited to clinical studies.
