Novant Medical Group, Inc. d/b/a Central Carolina Neurology & Sleep is an independent research office located in the heart of the Piedmont section of North Carolina. Founded in 1994, the center has conducted Phase II, III and IV studies.

Facility Description

CCNS is located in the Kiser Medical Building at Rowan Regional Medical Center. Conveniently located approximately 45 minutes North of Charlotte (CLT) Douglas International and South of Piedmont Triad (GSO) International airports.

Known for its beautiful weather, flowering trees and Southern history, Salisbury offers convenient hotels and lovely bed and breakfast accommodations.

Clinically we offer a 4,750 square foot facility featuring:

• 6 fully equipped exam rooms
• A six-bed sleep center fully accredited by the American Academy of Sleep Medicine
• On-site lab with daily pick-up with Fed-X and UPS
• Full time regulatory and document specialist
• HIPPA compliant
• In-house quality assurance staff
• Off site storage for long-term storage of study documents
• Standard Operating Procedures are in place
• Routine equipment calibrations
• Monitoring of regulatory notebooks, case report forms and job performance
• Private customized monitoring rooms
• Alice IV computerized sleep and Grass paper polysomnographic recording equipment
• Spacious and comfortable waiting room with TV

Relationship with community
Close relationships have been developed with the local hospital, area physicians and their staff allowing us to provide the latest in diagnostic procedures. We currently serve the area nearest Salisbury such as:
