Center Overview

Brandon-Valrico Center for Allergy & Asthma Research is committed to providing a quality medical setting with an atmosphere of integrity, dedication and excellence, with the intention of meeting our patients’ allergy and asthma healthcare needs today with the future pharmaceuticals of tomorrow.

Brandon-Valrico Center for Allergy & Asthma Research was established in 2003 to provide people who suffer from asthma and allergic/immunologic diseases, with the promising treatments of tomorrow. The research center is under the umbrella of a very successful and large private practice of allergy, asthma and immunology that has been in existence since 1989, in the Tampa/Brandon/Valrico region of Florida. As such, with two offices, we offer services to all of Hillsborough County, as well as neighboring counties of Polk, Manatee, Pinellas, Pasco and Hernando counties. The center is easily accessible by car and public transportation, and the Tampa International Airport is within 50 miles of the research center. We are about 70 miles from Orlando International Airport. The principal investigator is affiliated with the University of South Florida, College of Medicine, Department of Pediatrics Allergy/Immunology section in Tampa, Florida, as well as All Children’s Hospital in St. Petersburg, Florida. Hospital facilities nearby include Brandon Regional Hospital, St. Joseph’s Hospital in Tampa, Florida, as well as Tampa General Hospital. The region experiences very high sustained tree pollen levels from Jan. - April each year providing clean cut seasonal allergy patients.

Our center provides good clinical practice to meet the individual needs of sponsors, quality assurance programs, and ready access to investigators, with experienced research coordinators and support staff.
