Our patients are from the Houston metropolitan area, which has
over 3 million people. Located in Southeast Texas, our site
provides for an ethnically diverse patient population. Our central
patient database consists of approximately 7,000 patients,
approximately 60% female and 40% male. We use electronic medical
records with diagnostic search capabilities. The patients entering
the rheumatology practice have consented to have their charts
reviewed for possible study inclusion.
Texas Research Center utilizes the services of Central IRB’s for
sponsor initiated research.
