Benchmark Research - Austin
Benchmark Research is a Texas-based research organization with
four strategic locations. Each site has unique capabilities for
study placement to maximize your study’s success. Since the
company’s inception in 1997, Benchmark has been focused on
providing exceptional service to the clinical research
industry.
- Austin, Texas
The Austin research center is located in a major hospital complex
(St. David's) and adjacent to a college university population
of over 60,000 people. The dedication of Dr. Teresa Coats, our
primary investigator in Austin, and our sub-investigators /
specialists have provided patient referrals and high quality
clinical research for over 6 years. Due to the proximity to the
University of Texas, the Austin site also excels at recruiting
acute condition studies with tight enrollment windows.
- Fort Worth, Texas
Benchmark's Fort Worth research center is located on the
western edge of the city in a rapidly growing community, and is
affiliated with HealthFirst Medical Clinic. Dr. William Seger is
the physician leading our research there. Dr. Seger and his team of
specialists have been conducting varied studies with Benchmark
since the firm was founded in 1997. Dr. Seger's clinic sees
over 300 patients a day and has an active database of 50,000
patients for recruiting.
- San Angelo, Texas
The San Angelo research center is situated in the largest medical
complex for all of West Texas. Dr. Darrell Herrington is the
physician leading our efforts there, and is a board certified
general medicine doctor with over 22 years in service to the
community. Dr. Herrington and his associates have been conducting
research with Benchmark since the late 1990's. This Benchmark
team has also been involved in several groundbreaking new
medications, and works with 100 + healthcare providers that
actively refer patients.
- San Francisco, California
Opened in 2003, the San Francisco research center is located in the
downtown's primary medical complex, in the heart of Union
Square -- just steps from where all of the Bay Area's major
public transportation lines converge. The physician leading our
research in San Francisco is Dr. Ivor Emanuel. Dr. Emanuel is board
certified in otolaryngology and has over 25 years of practice in
general medicine and asthma / allergy. Dr. Emanuel has been
actively conducting research in the San Francisco area since the
late 1980's.
- Centralized Call Center
In 1998, Benchmark Research recognized the value of having a
centralized recruiting department to direct qualified patients to
the appropriate research center, places reminder calls for all
appointments, and reschedule visits for patient’s convenience and
according to protocol specified windows. Consequently, Benchmark
sites have extraordinarily low early term/lost-to-follow-up
numbers.
Benchmark Research professionally coordinates all details
associated with conducting Phase II-IV clinical trials.
