Center Overview

A leader and innovator in the field of clinical trials, Avail Clinical Research (formerly University Clinical Research DeLand, LLC), is a privately owned, multi-specialty research facility, founded in 1998. We are located in DeLand, Florida -- a lovely Main street USA city located midway between Orlando and Daytona Beach and across from Florida Hospital DeLand . Our research facility is state of the art, cutting edge in the industry. Our entire staff prides itself on providing rapid study start-up, expeditious, precise project management, and timely protocol completion.

  • Our proficient submission techniques enable us to receive approval and initiate studies within a week of receipt of final protocol.
  • Our unique tracking system ensures an accurate chain of custody for critical documents as well as investigational substances.
  • While we are always glad to utilize a central IRB, we also maintain a current database of FDA inspected Institutional Review Boards in order to insure rapid and unconditioned approvals and to assure strict adherence to regulations regarding the protection of human research subjects.
  • We utilize one of the most innovative and dynamic clinical trials management systems which enable our staff to quickly identify even the most difficult patient populations and carefully track our patients throughout the study. In our constantly changing industry, where accuracy is vital, information is sensitive, and timing is crucial, this highly effective data management system is invaluable.

In 2004, Avail was chosen by the State of Florida, the County of Volusia's Department of Economic Development and the City of DeLand as a target industry. The warm welcome and unfailing encouragement that we have received from this community has enabled us to thrive and grow at an amazing pace.

Here at Avail Clinical Research we incorporate the knowledge and experience of all of our professional staff to meet the designated needs and time lines of our clients. OUR MISSION-and our commitment is to work diligently TODAY to bring the drugs of TOMORROW to our community.
