Center Overview

Neurology Associates, P.A. is a private practice facility located in Central Florida. We currently have four board certified/eligible neurologists and two neurology focused ARNP staff with over 50,000 patient contacts per year. Our facility has EKG, EEG, ENG, EMG/NCV, and blood draw capabilities. We have refrigerated/locked drug storage as well as a -20 freezer for sample storage. We have a full-time clinical research staff with over 20 years combined research experience. Our goals are to provide our large general neurology population with a variety of therapeutic options/research opportunities to enhance their quality of life.

Clinical Research Experience

Neurology Associates, P.A. has been participating in clinical research trials for approximately 10 years, however, most of our physicians have previous experience from their residencies or fellowships. Our diverse general Neurology population allows us the opportunity to successfully participate in a wide range of trials such as Epilepsy, Migraine, Alzheimer's Disease, Parkinson's Disease, ALS, Stroke, and Multiple Sclerosis.

We have worked with many pharmaceutical companies such as Novartis, Biogen, Serono, Janssen, Elan, Glaxo Smith-Kline, Merck, Teva, Genentech, Acorda, Hoffman-LaRoche, Sanofi-Aventis, Pharmacia, PPD, Parexel, UBC, UCB and Ingenix.

Facility Description

Our facility is conveniently located in the Central Florida area (near Orlando, Florida). We are approximately 5 miles off of the Maitland I-4 exit and very easily located. We see patients in an outpatient setting in our office, but we have hospital privileges at the local Florida Hospitals.

We have EEG, ENG, EMG/NCV, EKG, Infusion and blood draw capabilities.

Our physicians have over 50,000 patient contacts per years. They treat a large patient population comprised of those suffering from Migraines, Stroke, TIAs, MS, Parkinson's Disease, Alzheimer's Disease, Epilepsy, Neuropathy, Dystonia, and ALS to name a few.

Other Information

We utilize central IRB with our various trials. If the trial were to enroll inpatients, we would need to acquire local hospital IRB approval.
