International Dermatology Research, Inc is a privately owned practice specializing in dermatology. Established in 1993 it has successfully completed over 160 clinical trials. Our staff is composed by 3 Board Certified Dermatologists, 3 Medical Assistant, 1 Aesthetician, 2 Receptionist , 2 Supervisors, 5 Research Coordinators, 1 Research Assistant and a General Administrator/ Research Director.

IDR, Inc. also counts with 8 sites in Latin America located in the following countries: Costa Rica, Honduras, El Salvador, Panama, Ecuador and Dominican Republic ( 3 Sites). All of these sites have over 20 years of experience conducting clinical trials, all investigators are GCP, and ICH trained.

Facility Description

Our office is located on Flagler Street, one of Miami's main arteries, and SW 84th Avenue. Close to expressways and only 10 minutes away from the airport and major hotel chains like Marriott, Hilton, Intercontinental, Radisson, Holiday Inn, etc.

Due to our excellent location we can be easily accessed by most routes of public transportation.

Our office counts with 4.000 sq feet of space, with 3.000 sq feet are dedicated to Clinical Research, with CLIA certified laboratory, set with a -20 Cº freezer for PK studies. Additionally there are 2 fully customized monitoring areas, with phones, DSL connection, sound proof walls, refrigerator, coffee machine, copy/fax machine, etc. As well as ample conference room equipped with TV and VHS.

Our patient population consists of Caucasians, Hispanics, and African Americans. We cover Pediatrics to Geriatrics. Patients in our database come mainly from Dade, Broward, and Monroe counties.

Because we dedicate exclusively to Dermatology, our staff has a vast experience in all Dermatology related conditions; giving us the ability to deliver very accurate data in a timely fashion. Having 8 additional sites in Latin America allow us to facilitate fast enrollment and 99% compliance in studies that are difficult to conduct in the Us among them; Lice, Fungal Infections, Bacterial Infections, etc.
