providing the highest standard of clinical research services to the

Quantum Laboratories recruits, manages and executes clinical

Quantum Laboratories has been involved in clinical trials for
more than 13 years. The therapeutic areas we work in include most
psychiatric illnesses and Alzheimer's related dementias.
Quantum Laboratories conducts clinical trials at two sites and
at assisted living facilities. Locations are in West Palm Beach and
at the Memory Disorder Center at North Broward Medical Center
located in Pompano Beach, Florida.
The two locations include comfortable facilities for monitoring,
full laboratory services on site, safe drug management and
accounting and secure storage of case study documents.
Jose E. De La Gandara, M.D.
15 years of experience in Psychiatric and Neuropsychiatric Clinical
Research.
Angela Pedraza, M.D.
13 years of experience in Psychiatric and Neuropsychiatric Clinical
Research.
Natalie Wilgoren, ARNP is the Director of
Clinical Research. As a nurse practitioner, Natalie has over 25
years experience working in psychiatry.
Helen Santos, AS, RMA is a registered medical
assistant. Helen is an assistant research coordinator and is in
charge of all regulatory affairs.
Quantum Laboratories is located in both Broward and Palm Beach
counties proving easy access to the fast growing population in
these South Florida communities.
The North Broward Medical Center and The Memory Disorder Center
generate many referrals for clinical trials. Private practitioners,
advertising in local newspapers and the media also provide many
referrals for the trials being conducted.
Our site has reached people who would not otherwise seek
psychiatric help through the mechanism of clinical trial
participation and serves as a resource to people beyond the
clinical trial dimension.
At Quantum Laboratories we take pride in the quality of clinical
care we offer participants. As a smaller research group the senior
investigator is very involved in evaluating and in the ongoing
assessment of our participants. We take the time to help the
participant and their family understand all aspects of the clinical
trials in a supportive and caring environment.
