Ridgeview Research is a dedicated research site created in 1993 and conducts all phases of research, including clinical trials for pharmaceutical companies as well as device and lab assay studies. Ridgeview Research has recently established a partnership with Prism Clinical Research, a Twin Cities-based clinical research company, to expand study capabilities and enhance recruitment efforts.
Ridgeview Research has conducted more than 200 studies, randomizing over 3,000 participants. Our areas of service for Phase II through Phase IV studies include:

Ridgeview Research is a division of Ridgeview Medical Center, an independent hospital. The research department is located in Chaska, MN, within a multi-specialty facility offering convenient access to imaging, endoscopy, emergency and urgent care, and collaboration with a variety of health care providers. Ridgeview Research is 40 minutes from the Minneapolis/St. Paul International Airport. Our facility includes:
- Private patient examination rooms
- CLIA approved on-site laboratory
- Refrigerated and ambient centrifuges
- -20 and -70 lab freezers
- Two locked medication refrigerators

Kevin Brown, DO
Dr. Brown is Board Certified in Neurology and Psychiatry. Dr. Brown has been practicing since 2010 and has been an investigator for Ridgeview Research since 2012.
Nancy Cooley, M.D.
Dr. Cooley is Board Certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology. Dr. Cooley has been practicing since 1993 and has been an investigator for Ridgeview Research since 1997.
Michael Edwards, M.D.
Dr. Edwards is Board Certified in Rheumatology and Internal Medicine. Dr. Edwards has been practicing since 1996 and has been an investigator for Ridgeview Research since 2012.
Michael Hopfenspirger, M.D.
Dr. Hopfenspirger is Board Certified in Otolaryngology. Dr. Hopfenspirger has been practicing since 2008 and has been an investigator for Ridgeview Research since 2009.
