Our center is a rapidly growing, private, internal medicine
practice. Our office has a diverse patient database with patients
from almost every ethnic background which adds a diversified
cultural mixture with each study in which we become involved. We
also are continuing to grow a large research database with patients
ready to participate in new clinical trials which cuts down on our
enrollment time lines and promotes high patient retention.
Our center has two full time, dedicated research coordinators
with over four years of research experience between both and a full
time clinical data manager to assist with expediting in the data
flow process. All staff members are familiar with GCPs and both
CRCs have FDA auditing experience. The clinical research staff is
dedicated to continually developing their clinical knowledge.

Our office is located in the Dallas Metroplex area. Our location
has easy access to both the DFW International and Dallas Love Field
airports. The office is right across the street from the Medical
City Dallas Hospital. There is ample free covered parking and the
public transportation system stops right in front of our building.

Dr. Rafael Canadas completed his residency in
Internal Medicine at the Montefiore Medical Center, the University
Hospital of the Albert Einstein College of Medicine in New York,
one of the most prestigious medical schools in the country. His
research experience goes as far back as his residency in New York.
He has been conducting clinical research privately since 1999 and
enjoys the challenges and experiences that research has allowed him
to experience. He is board certified and a Diplomate of the
American Board of Internal Medicine. Dr. Canadas is Board Certified
by the Association of Clinical Research Professionals (ACRP) and
the Academy of Pharmaceutical Physicians and Investigator (APPI) as
Certified Physician Investigator.
The physician investigator, two research coordinators and data
manager are thoroughly trained medical professionals that are
dedicated to performing high quality patient care and clinical
research data to our sponsors. The auditing experiences of the
staff has allowed them to be well versed and prepared for any and
all site visits by the sponsor, CRO or FDA.
Dr. Canadas’ hospital privileges extend not only at the Medical
City Dallas Hospital but Presbyterian Hospital as well. His close
ties with various medical professionals throughout Dallas and its
surrounding areas have allowed the site greater accessibility for
patient referrals. Our site has over 2,000 patients with a wide
variety of medical indications. The internal medicine practice sees
patients between the ages of 16-85+. We have acquired an ample
population of patients that have participated in past clinical
trials and are ready to commit to future trials that become
available. Our physician also has local media contacts that provide
free weekly advertising of our current clinical trials that have
generated numerous referrals both presently and in the past.
