The Active Clinical Investigator (ACI) Data Set is the most comprehensive database with updated information about US clinical investigators that currently are or have been involved in US FDA overseen clinical trials. Every year about 2,600 novice US FDA investigators are added into the US FDA Bioresearch Monitoring Information Systems (BMIS). This corresponds to the estimated 220 new entries every month. The ACI Data Set is the only clinical investigator Data Set that tracks the rapid changes of addresses of US FDA investigators on a monthly basis. As an added feature, this Data Set has been merged with the US FDA Clinical Investigator Inspection List providing the user with information on the number of inspections and the inspection outcome for each principal investigator. The ACI Data Set includes the following information for each clinical investigator:
This database offers industry professionals involved in managing and conducting clinical trials an efficient and rapid method to identify active US clinical investigators for industry-sponsored clinical trials. It is user-friendly with the data queried being transferred electronically as an Excel file on a monthly basis. This information can be easily integrated into other existing data sets. The ACI Data Set is an annual subscription available as a Full Data Set or a Sub-set of one or several of the specialty areas and/or a selection of US States. The subscription fee includes 12 updated Data Sets annually.
