Greenphire’s ClinCard System is a web-based payment and communication engine allowing patients to receive stipend and reimbursement payments in real time. Payment structures are programmed into the system to accommodate the unique parameters of each study. The ClinCard System also features customized Subject Messaging Programs designed to promote subject adherence to study protocols and to deliver compliance directions to the patient throughout the study. Each Subject Messaging Program is designed to enhance the patient’s study experience while reducing administration for site and sponsor coordinators.
The ClinCard System is the first web-based solution that combines electronic patient messaging and payment technologies to reduce costs, mitigate regulatory risk, increase patient retention and eliminate operational inefficiencies.
The system is currently being utilized throughout North America and Europe at over 1,000 clinical research sites supporting over 6,000 studies and over 50,000 patients. It has been quantitatively shown to reduce site administration associated with payments by over 90%, decrease patient attrition by up to 37% and decrease costs by up to 60%. The ClinCard System may be seamlessly integrated into other clinical computer systems (EDC, CTMS, IVRS, etc.) for a streamlined solution.
Greenphire's Subject Messaging System is a messaging solution designed to execute protocol-specific Subject Messaging Programs at the site level to enhance the patient experience in clinical studies. The Subject Messaging System is designed to drive patient retention and compliance in environments where patient payments are not applicable or cannot be driven through the ClinCard System. The Subject Messaging System may be controlled at the site level through a web-based interface or through a back-end integration with another site-facing system (CTMS, Patient Recruitment Portal, etc.).
The eClinicalGPS is a web-based payment engine designed to integrate with a sponsor’s preferred data source (EDC or other) to receive site data and process it against site contracts. The eClinicalGPS then runs triggered payments through a multi-level web-based sponsor approval process before payments are released. Sites receiving payments through the eClinicalGPS may manage payments from multiple sponsors through a single web interface,and detailed information is provided for each payment to facilitate reconciliation. Funds may then be managed electronically by arranging transfers to other accounts or through alternative strategies. The sponsor achieves completely transparent investigator payments for all studies from a centralized data source.
