Survey shows 57% still relying on Excel spreadsheets
ClearTrial, a Chicago-based Clinical Trial Operations software company, has been included in the list of “Cool Vendors” in the “Cool Vendors in Life Sciences, 2011″report by Gartner. Gartner’s vice president Steven Lefebure and Gartner managing vice president Dale Hagemeyer explore key challenges faced by life sciences companies and discuss ClearTrial’s solutions for planning, forecasting, and tracking of clinical projects and financial performance.
ClearTrial, a provider of clinical trial software, recently launched its Study Costing and Optimization Service (SCOS), a product that combines ClearTrial’s existing trial management software with the consultation services of the company’s clinical services staff. ClearTrial said the new offering will give smaller biopharma companies more control over clinical trial costs, resources and timelines.
ClearTrial, a provider of clinical trial software, appointed Michael Bruns as the company’s new chief operating officer. Bruns will oversee ClearTrial’s global operations and help further develop and implement the company’s growth strategy. Prior to joining ClearTrial, Bruns was director of the Technology Investment Banking Group at Robert W. Baird, a global investment banking firm.
