Survey: Top CROs doubled workforce over past decade

INC Research completes acquisition of Kendle International

Raleigh, N.C.-based INC Research, a therapeutically focused CRO privately held by Avista Capital Partners and Ontario Teachers’ Pension Plan, has completed the acquisition of Kendle International in an all-cash transaction with a total equity value of approximately $232 million or $15.25 per share.

Kendle names Dr. Pierre Geoffroy vice president, early stage

Cincinnati-based CRO Kendle has appointed Pierre Geoffroy, M.D., C.M., MSc, FCFP vice president, early stage, effective immediately.  Dr. Geoffroy brings nearly two decades of clinical development experience to the position.  He will oversee the development of early stage programs for customers worldwide, providing medical expertise and clinical insights for the development of safe and effective early-stage clinical trials.  Dr. Geoffroy will be based out of Kendle's early stage unit in Toronto and will report directly to Stephen Cutler, Ph.D., president and CEO.
