Pharmapack Europe, organized by UBM, is issuing a final call for entries to the 2016 Pharmapack Awards. Now in its 15th edition, the awards continue to showcase technologies from across the industry.
Human Longevity (HLI), the genomics-based, technology-driven company, has announced that Sally Howard, J.D., has been hired as head of regulatory affairs and policy. Howard, who has more than two decades of health policy and regulatory expertise, will lead all efforts related to federal and state regulatory oversight for HLI.
Merck, a Germany-based science and technology company, has been named one of the top 20 employers in the biopharmaceutical industry by Science magazine, a peer-reviewed international scientific publication. Merck ranked 17th among biotechnology and pharmaceutical companies worldwide. This is the second year in a row that Merck has been named to the top employer list, improving from its position of number 20 in 2014.
