BioClinica, a global provider of clinical trial management solutions, has announced that Europe was the fastest growing geographic region in 2013 for its eClinical technology products. The company plans continued investments in its European workforce in of operations and sales, potentially doubling its European eClinical presence in 2014.

Report: U.S. Alzheimer's imaging agent market will grow as reimbursement improves

The U.S. Alzheimer's imaging agent market will grow dramatically over the next 10 years, according to Decision Resources Group. Currently, Eli Lilly's Amyvid, launched in June 2013, is the only FDA-approved product available, but GE Healthcare, Piramal Enterprises and Navidea Biopharmaceuticalsare all poised to launch products in the U.S. in the next few years.

Translational Imaging Center to speed drug development, lower costs

MPI Research, inviCRO and 3D Imaging have formally announced the name of their new advanced imaging center being built at the MPI Research headquarters in Mattawan, Mich. A joint partnership by the three organizations, the Translational Imaging Center is the first resource for the drug development community to combine molecular imaging and autoradiography with an onsite cyclotron, vivarium and advanced image analytics.

Oracle and Nuance expect to work together to integrate Nuance technology with Oracle e-clinical software.
