The company received a Silver Web Health Award in the mobile application resource category for its patient engagement mobile app, Health Info Gizmo. BBK also received a Bronze Web Health Award in the e-business category for its e-commerce site, The Web Health Awards recognize high-quality digital health resources for consumers and health professionals.

EMMES has promoted executive vice president Dr. Anne Lindblad to president and chief executive officer. Lindblad replaces Dr. Donald (Don) Stablein, who has been named past president. Stablein, who joined the company in 1980, has been president/CEO since 1992. In his new role as past president, he will continue to provide project support and will be an ambassador for EMMES.

Arisaph Pharmaceuticals, a privately held drug discovery and development biopharmaceutical company focused on developing novel therapies for cardiometabolic diseases and cancer, has been awarded a phase I Small Business Technology Transfer (STTR) award from the National Cancer Institute of the NIH. The award supports the R&D of Arisaph's small molecule immune modulators to stimulate tumor immunity following treatment with BRAF inhibitors in cancer.
