Kendle Updates Biostatistics Platform

Wednesday, March 17, 2010 07:00 AM

Cincinnati-based contract research organization (CRO) Kendle has implemented a new biostatistics infrastructure that the company said will enhance the analysis and delivery of clinical trial data for customers.

The new platform allows Kendle’s biostatistics and scientific programming staff to simultaneously access clinical trial data from anywhere in the world. The system will improve network performance and bandwidth availability, as well as reduce licensing requirements.

"With this new environment, data will be processed at the server level much faster than ever before, greatly improving the productivity of our teams around the world and expediting the delivery of quality data to our customers," said John A. Whitaker, Ph.D., vice president, biostatistics and statistical programming, in a statement.  "This investment allows Kendle to provide a more globally integrated solution to meet our customers' needs anywhere, any time."

The new system will also enable Kendle to improve its growing operations in India, the CRO said.
