The Clinical Trial Company opens new California office

The Clinical Trial Company (TCTC), headquartered in the U.K., has incorporated a new U.S. business to meet the growing number of U.S. clients and sponsors, in the San Francisco Bay area.

The U.S. office is led by David W. J. Smith, who has experience in building new healthcare businesses over the past 25 years in Europe and the U.S.

TCTC provides clinical contract research services to the pharmaceutical, biotech and medical device industries and has experience in advanced products areas such as cell and gene therapies as well as orphan drug indications. TCTC ran the clinical trials for the first gene therapy medicine to be approved in the western world.
