Tuesday, August 13, 2013 12:21 PM

Patient recruitment company BBK Worldwide has been awarded two Web Health Awards for excellence in the Mobile Application Resource and e-Business categories. The company received a Silver Web Health Award in the mobile application resource category for its patient engagement mobile app, Health Info Gizmo. BBK also received a Bronze Web Health Award in the e-business category for its e-commerce site, shop.BBKWorldwide.com. The Web Health Awards recognize high-quality digital health resources for consumers and health professionals.

“Health Info Gizmo, an advanced mobile platform, is designed to educate patients about clinical trials as a potential treatment option. Similarly, shop.BBKWorldwide.com is built to help sponsors understand patient recruitment support available for the management of research,” said Matthew Stumm, principal, creative and media strategy, BBK Worldwide. “While these products were designed for two different audiences, both ultimately help realize BBK’s goal of encouraging individuals to make informed decisions.”

The Web Health Awards, held twice a year, features nearly 600 entries and 43 entry categories, including blog, e-newsletter, mobile application, mobile web site, social media, video and web site.
