PSI expands South African clinical trial presence

Monday, July 29, 2013 01:29 PM

Switzerland-based CRO PSI has expanded into South Africa and will expand its access to all African countries from its base in Pretoria. PSI's experience in South Africa includes oncology, CNS, urology and diabetes.

With experts in South Africa providing a high standard of medical care, patients who have received state-of-the-art therapy, in addition to treatment-naïve patients, can be recruited for clinical trials. The region has a strong infrastructure to support regulatory oversight, and data generated from clinical trials in South Africa are accepted internationally.
