Aptuit names Maurizio Denaro general manager

Global pharmaceutical company Aptuit has appointed Dr. Maurizio Denaro general manager of The Aptuit Center for Discovery & Development in Verona, Italy.

“Denaro will also become a member of our executive committee, applying his experience and insight to assist in the long-term direction of Aptuit Verona," said Stuart Needleman, Aptuit's president and chief operating officer.

Denaro's previously worked in corporate and R&D leadership roles at global life science companies in both Europe and the U.S., including Bracco Imaging, where he was responsible for the ultrasound business unit, Marion Merrell Dow, OSI Pharmaceuticals, Amylin Pharmaceuticals and Hoechst Marion Roussel.
