Johannes Schubmehl appointed CIO of Bayer HealthCare

Bayer HealthCare, a global healthcare company, has appointed Johannes Schubmehl as chief information officer (CIO). Schubmehl succeeds Matthias Moritz, who had left the company at the end of March.

Schubmehl has held various managerial positions in the Bayer Group since 1999. From 2006-2010 he was CIO of Bayer CropScience and then transferred to Bayer Business Services where he was responsible for the human resources services unit with approximately 1,000 employees worldwide.
